I had to start new channel for my music because my current one has messed up algorithm and low impressions due to a lot of dead subscribers after I switched niches a while back (it used to be a photoshop and after effects tutorial channel) Lesson learned not to convert or switch niche on YT. Best way to grow in my experience is to grind a dedicated format from the start

Anyway I'd appreciate if anyone likes the music to subscribe as I'm building my new socials from the ground up

Any feedback welcome for the song, mix, master, structure, you know the rules. I've been getting into synthwave recently and this is my 2nd or 3rd synthwave track.

To my ears the track seems kind of “unglued” meaning that it seemed like a bunch of independent tracks playing along at the same tempo? And there was no strong chorus to return to after the bridge. The track kept chugging along until the end when it unceremoniously ends.

There’s a cool car revving sample that could have been used to kick off the track, instead it’s revealed later on. The name check and metronome beat at the intro are a turn off for me. If it was “Hi Tom, where shall we drive tonight?” That might be cool? The disconnected number sample also seemed incongruous. A police siren would be more thematic. Perhaps a cool way to end it?

Anyway, just some thoughts. :)

Thanks for the feedback. Are you saying the individual tracks don't compliment each other? I went for an unorthodox structure. My favorite parts were the breaks and the synth change in the second half which I thought overall the beat had a nice vibe but I'm sure could be better. And those little samples like the car and phone is something I put in a lot of my beats, mostly the car when there is a transition to a drop or a progression, but it seemed good at the time as a little flavor. But I'll definitely consider bringing in that car sound earlier
