damn danc! this lady has a gorgeous vocal.
well song is nteresting. but somehow empty.
but it works good.
i wanted to say the summa sound is not my prefered style/sound.
but like this song.
i do get the message and the song construction and emptiness in it.

I started with the vocal and cut it up extensively to make it interesting and sit around the kick, and added varying vocal backing layers that I knew I could introduce to keep it interesting. I soon realised the vocal was so strong/distinct at that point that it didn't need to be hidden inside a big/full music production. The musical elements and drums just needed to support it - by emphasising the groove of the vocal and making it danceable.
HOWEVER - there is actually a lot of hidden details, which evolve over time, like the various bass lines/squeals and percussion.
I think you like the song... as you said... "LIKE THIS SONG" about 10 times!!!
