(Trap/HipHop Beat) JOY

Hi all,
This is a trap style beat that I made completely in Reason 11 suite with REs only, no VSTs. Any constructive criticism is happily welcomed as I try to learn and improve with each new track that I make. I mixed it myself too so any opinions on that front are also welcome. Peace to you all.

For me, it's a bit too repetitive.
I think there is a good basic idea but it is not exploited enough.

It looks like an endless introduction looking for what it will become.
A rap song on that would settle everything. (with a singer)

No problem mixing to my ear. It's balanced.

Hi,
Thanks a bunch for listening. It most certainly is going to be used to rap over as I'm currently working on a small EP in which this beat will feature. It's somewhat repetitive by design as in hip hop its hard to write lyrics with a good flow if the beat changes too much, at least for me. Thanks again for listening and giving feedback. God bless you.
