I started by recording myself... with these lyrics.
Yep... before I even had the kick or bass or even any idea what key I'd be in.

So, I built everything around the lyrics.

Wanted the drums to be super splashy 808's and adding non-808 snares, claps etc that sat well the 808.
And I wanted the bass to super simple but stand out really well against the splashing hats.

I know it's too short at the moment (2mins 19s) . . . . just wanted to stop it there and then re-upload new section when I have a clear path for the 2nd half.
