After Becoming Sane, I needed to cleanse my musical palate. That was such an emotionally intense album, for me, and none of those emotions were particularly good ones--I needed to get back to something with a bit of humor in it. I've sang weird songs to my dog as we putz around the house for all 14 years now, and I thought it would be fun to set them to music. It was a super fun little project.

The album consists of ten very short songs (the whole album is a little over 7 minutes), and it's basically exactly what it sounds like--a bunch of short, strange little tunes about what I lovingly refer to as the Fur Fang Gang in my immediate family.

Also available on Spotify and pretty much everywhere else, but you get the idea...

Titanic job! Don't know if you wrote these in part to spite me for suggesting you may want to give some thought about the listener's experience, but you proved me wrong on a whole new level! I played this to my dog and she immediately asked to borrow 3 fiddy for your bandcamp. I was too ashamed to give her the money though. Best of luck with this!

as for the inspiration, it’s exactly as described—written for my family and our pets as a fun Christmas gift. not sure I’d ever take internet forum posts so seriously they’d have any impact on my music.

Pet Pop. :-)
The next step is to let your pets join in and be vocalists too.

great idea! if I try that, I’ll just have to steer clear of holiday territory:

😄 thanks! Belly Rub Time is the one that started it all. I used to sing that to her every morning before work. 😆

This was terribly refreshing and well done. The song about Quizno I particularly liked, what a beautiful sound and song all the way through. I feel like all your pets are my buds now too :)

These are really cool and strike a chord being a cat/dog person. I only have a cat at this time and the lyrics about being hangry made me laugh as my cat follows me into the kitchen every time in the hope for more food 😂😂😂

😆 that was a really fun one! I don’t know Mama well (my sister lives out of state), so I asked my sister about her personality, and she said it mainly consisted of being mad about not having enough food—my sis said I was able to capture Mama’s essence. of course it’s always fun when you get to tell a sibling to shut up in song (and not get them mad at you for it). 😂
