Which preset did you use?
Did you use damage for the drums?

Thanks alot :-)

I used "Hydra Brit Crunch" for thythm guitars and "Hydra Modern Metal 3" for the lead.
There are also many Kontakt Guitar Rig presets that I like very much.
The drums are from Damage 2 and also Reason's drum supply.

By the way I'm thinking about buying the Audio Imperia bundle:

You have experience with orchestral libraries, right? Do you know this one?
Only a few hours left to decide.

Aha ok great, Jaeger and Areia are good, they are new, so I don´t know much about those 2, the Orchetsra complete 2 is also new from Sonuscore (I have The Orchestra Complete 1 and is really good, 2 has more instruments and is better).
I don´t know which style of music you want to make but I like Spitfire libraries (for example Albion 1-5 the first is the best ), or from Orchestral Tools - Metropolis Ark 1-4, and some Choir-Voice library like Ethera Gold 2, Storm Choir Ultima, Dominus pro, Silka or Voxos 2....there are so many great libraries
From Heavyocity you have Damage 2 but Novo, Forzo and Vento are also good. they are all expensive, so you need only 3-4 orchestral libraries :)
I think Jaeger and Areia from audio imperia are similar but I am not sure :)

Thanks Wav-E!

The number of orchestral libraries is really incredibly large.
Orchestra Complete 2 sounds really interesting to me. Maybe I buy Audio Imperia now and Orchestra Complete 2 later if it is on sale.

I appreciate your feedback because I'm neither a guitar player nor would I call myself a metal head. I only listen to metal once in a while.
A didn't use the groove mixer and didn't even play the solo on the keyboard. So everything is aligned to the 16th grid. Maybe this is the reason for the MIDI like sound. Or would you have another idea?

Yes programmed stringed instruments usually don't sound realistic and with no variation in note length everything even a programmed synth will sound midi/robotic
