I've never understood what the "Berlin School" genre is meant to sound like – to me this is ambient-ish synthpop.

Whatever genre it is, this is nice, and without being twee. There are some places where it sounds distorted, and I'm not sure to what extent that's intentional. I mean particularly on the once-per-bar bass notes: 0:29, 0:31, 0:34 and so on. Guessing that it is indeed intentional, but maybe it could be a bit more obviously so? Just a thought.
