A silly name but its synth metal, it has to be space themed lol!

I havent recorded guitar in a while so it was really fun to jam out some ideas
I used Omega Ampworks Granophyre for the guitars and Cerberus for bass.

I hope you like it!

This is great! I think the mix is good too. Did you mic a guitar cab or did you DI the guitar? If so, what recab did you use?

Im using the guitar sim plugin called "Omega ampworks Granyphyre" by Neural DSP. Really nice metal tones out of the box. It also has its own cab sim im using, though you can load your own IR's if you want.

It's awesome to have an amp sim just opened in Reason, makes recording a breeze!

My cat just walked across the keyboard and closed Firefox, just after I was about to hit "Submit". [sigh]

Second attempt, abbreviated:
– would never have guessed that the drums and especially the guitars are simulated
– the synth pad that comes in around 1:12 reminded me of "Voodoo people" by The Prodigy, and a little of the first Orbital album
– it's pretty much exactly 50/50 synth and metal – good balance. Do you know the version of Orbital's "Satan" that has Kirk Hamnett playing on it? This seems a similar balance. Yours is maybe slightly further toward synth.

Hehe what a rascal! :D

I didn't know of Orbital, sounds cool, listening now!
I have have been a little unclear, the guitar is real and played by me, however the amp is not a real one, but a simulator (Omega ampworks) So im just going direct into my interface.
I have been heavily inspired by japanese bands "Blood Stain Child" and "Fear and loathing in Las Vegas"

Here's a example of what inspires me:

or

its kinda cheesy and crazy and i love it haha

Thanks for listening man and pet the cat for me :)
