Hi Reasontalk community,

i made a Trance track in Reason 9.5 called "This is where it all ends".

I think it goes in the direction of uplifting trance and was done using only stock devices.
This track concludes a trance trilogy i've been working on, if you want to check it out:
The 2 other tracks in this playlist have been posted over the last months here as well.

Following some very valuable feedback from Mr. Hydlide of reasonexperts.com and the community of the trance discord channel, i learned a lot while doing this.
It still has it's flaws, but given my current level of production skills, i think the is the best i could squeeze out of it.
So i hope you enjoy it, critics and comments are most welcome.

Thanks to everyone who helped me doing this. You guys are awesome whereever you might be

Cheers

Phoken

supposed to look like that? Silence for 2-3 minutes? John Cage goes trance? :-)

Well ,that was embarrasing. This is what happens when you render the track and have all lanes on mute but the niosesweep. Argh...

Thanks for pointing it out. I corrected the link.

No worries! Listening now.

Hats a bit too loud
Snare too loud
Crash too loud
You could use less "mellow" sounds,
Guitar sample has to leave the room
Hihat parts are gone for too long

Good musical theme, nice polysynth

Keep it up and you'll get there

Listen to Man With No Name

Thanks man. I've been trying with the hats back and forth. So in the end it was the choice of either too lout or not loud enough. Well, maybe next time.
Do not fully understand about the guitar? U mean the guitar has to leave or it hasn't too much room?

In the end i'm quite happy with the outcome, and the fact that i get various feedback about the melodies being nice encourages me to push forward.
I think it's mainly about the mix more or less.

Again, thanks for the feedback.

Cheers!
