This is a song about the misguided belief that 'a good guy with a gun' is not oxymoronic.

The main rhythm is provided by dholki (a low-sounding Asian two-headed drum) and tablas. The keyboard sounds are harmoniums from the Factory Soundbank. The guitars are guitars.

Feedback/suggestions welcome.

Thanks, Pete

I like the idea though my dislikes are:
- the mix is a bit thin, tinny
- the vocals are sitting with the instruments (almost just as loud)
- A rather mono mix

I think the track itself could shine without the vocals
Why are you reading this?

Great feedback, thanks. I agree with most of it (The message would be lost if I get rid of the vocals!).
I've added a bit more oompf to the dholki to bolster the bottom end, moved a few things in the stereo field to make it less cluttered in the middle / less mono (but there are so many sounds going on that I found that quite difficult, because it soon becomes unbalanced and I'm a bit manic about symmetry), and sat the vocals lower. Still work to be done, I think, but thanks again.
