I went for a very minimalistic approach with this one, with only 5 instrument tracks in total.
2 leads, 1 bass, 1 pad sound, all made with 4MER.
The drums come from Ochen Ks EDS06s Drum Synth. Probably the simplest drums I've ever done.
I do feel like I didn't really make use of 4MERs capabilites and features, so maybe this one's not so great as a demo track for the synth. The sounds are all pretty basic. It became all about the melodies instead.
Quite an interesting synth in many ways. I found it particularly interesting that how it sounded depended very much at what sample rate I played the track. I made this one in 88200 Hz which made it pretty much free from any bright high end. It's pretty much all midrange and bass.
Oh and everything is in mono. The only thing in stereo is the subtle reverb on every sound.
4MER track - (video gamey music)

Impressive! Spot-on with the melody carrying the piece. To hell with multi-tracking and stereo, long live mono!

Thanks. I could easily have turned this into something bigger and wider production wise, but sometimes it's just nice to let composition do all the work.
Also no mono compatibility issues

Thanks.
I remember someone else also mentioned Metroid together with my music. I've never tried it or heard any of its music though.
