It's been a while. Here's tonight recording, more of a hard rock backing track, would benefit from a decent rap and chorus vox over it.

I'd be willing to drop rap bars on this!

OK, I can't say what it says to you, but for me the noodle is the guitar equivalent of primal scream therapy! It's deeply satisfying just to make a lot of noise!

It's a release of raw anger at a situation I cannot control, so there's a level of impotence involved there. It's also an otherwise repressed emotional response that's just not rational, dignified or even perhaps most interestingly from a lyrical standpoint - correct. i.e. you might expect sadness, or some other response other than rage. But I always felt that anger is the single biggest driver of innovation and creativity (and it turns out Terry Pratchett felt the same way so I'm in good company there), it drives you forwards and blinds you from emotions that you maybe aren't ready to process.

The other interesting standpoint about anger is that there's always that faint voice in the back of your head full of self awareness that knows full well that being angry you've lost, your opponent (whomever that may be, even if it's yourself) is of course controlling the conversation... and that just makes you even more angry!

I mean the thing is I can come up with lyrics and lyrical ideas, but then it's my speech patterns and melodies, but you could bring some waaaay cooler ideas to the table.

Sounds good. I write mostly angry stuff anyway lol.

Nice work guys, the new edit gives me a bit more room to throw something into the mix. The concept is pretty different so I'm excited to try and think of something for this. I have a flow in mind just need the words to suit!

Ah sorry guys, I've hit a busy patch with work. I'm literally getting no days off at the minute. If someone else wants to step in on the verse feel free. I don't think I can commit to the project anytime within the next two weeks. Terribly sorry for wasting your time!

Hey there, it's all good man, we've all got other jobs and this is just leisure time activities, just wanted to know if you were still alive as it'd been a few weeks

If you're no longer feeling it then I'm obviously open to anyone else that wants to pitch in, but if you just need more time then just say.

I've been feeling it, I came close to writing something but then a whole of stuff started happening in life and became too busy. I woud not be offended if you got someone else involved. I don't want to hold you guys up because you've managed to get things done so fast and I'm taking the longest! But in a couple weeks time I'll be able to fully commit.
