The good guy and gene

One song from our Cobra album is "The good guy". Cobra is a Swedish retro telephone for fixed line that is showing on the album cover in the jungle (as a cobra ..eh)
Cobra was an idea to make an album that was sort of retro electronic. No guitars, no actual singing, drum machine and older synth sounds. On this track we eg use the blue meanie refill.



What or who is the good guy that promise to fix all your problems and cure your cancer if you just say his name and hand over your credit card number + your last four digits? Can be more than one thing but the idea was to create a feeling of being fooled.

On the song and on the rest of the album we use a lot of text to speech voices (for those that don't know -u text a sentence in an editor and generate a wav file). We used Neptune to tune the melody and intonation with its pitch wheel on the wavs.

That's a cool track with it's own special flow and the original voice stuff makes it even more interesting. Like it.
