Hi, this is my new tune
about this track :
starting with a soft orchestra then comes the vocal that I took from an acapella magix (3 voices in the middle of the track) and 2 rap parts.
Overall there is a soundscape voice and vocal/rap part, melody and synth part, agressive part, break and reverse synths/vocals fx fills...and the outro with the 1/2 beat

overall it's solid but I don't think the rap vocals fit. the soundscape voice is better and I think some actual singing would work better but this could be fine as just a beat. I would probably put some different stutter effects on the beat but that's purely up to one's taste. mix sounds very clean listening on laptop speakers

Listening on my laptop at the moment. The mix sounds very good. You can hear everything well. Similar to tomusurp, I'm on the fence about the rap vocals. There are sections that sound good and others where I'd be fine without them and rather hear the music. Good progressions and melody, too. Overall, nice work.

thank you very much, yes there is a (stupid) reason why I didn´t cut the rap vocals because I started this track only with the beat and the rap vocals and I left both till the end....when I add the bass, melody and fx then sounds maybe sometimes too much...also in some parts they sound strange, like they don´t fit.... yes maybe singing or just music would be better, this was just a test and fun making it , the next DnB would be for sure more instrumental
Sometimes I want to mix genres of music and making some weird stuff :D

The production on this is corker. I actually really like the vocals, for me they work well, especially in sections like 2.17 where they bounce of keyboard refrains. For me has a feel of those 90s dance tracks with a rapper and then a female vocalist doing the high chorus work. The energy in this track is brilliant. Love the rough guitars and chewy distorted synths.

Killer music. The rap stuff is a vibe. I think it fits but I’d love to hear a different version with you singing. This is so Pendulum! And crystal clear mix.

Check out my new song Down In Flames.

Always enjoy your tunes, WAV-E. I listened through a couple times on AirPods Pro and the mix sounds solid on them… for whatever that’s worth. Really nicely built track all round too.

Not sure I agree the rap doesn’t fit as such, I just think it’s a bit generic. Your tune deserves better. Personally I’d love to hear some punky, South London vocals on there. I do like the other vocal as is but I can also hear it with some Scream and Alligator just on the tail end of each part. Crunchy, gated goodness.

Otherwise it’s a solid tune. Again. Nice work!
