When it Stings (Dark Synth Pop/Rock/Industrial)

I was inspired after attending a Crosses show (a side project of Chino Moreno from Deftones) at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery and this is what came out of it.

I enjoyed this more than any track posted here in recent memory. I am not very familiar with the artists you named as inspiring this, but the tone of the plucky post-punk-ish guitar motif at the beginning pulled me in and then later the NiN-like sense of how at any moment this might get violent appealed to me. If I have any criticism, is that it seems like the engineering could surface more shiny cutting menace.
