(Synthwave/80sElectronic) Neon Nightz

Hey everyone,

I've always loved the vibe of the 80s and that includes the music. I, however, have never attempted to make music in that retro style before and decided to remedy that situation by taking a stab at making a little synthwave track. (I was also inspired by another user on this forum hearing their music)

I studied up beforehand since I had no experience and this track is the result. Please, DON'T hesitate to give feedback as I can learn from it and any tips from you more experienced folk on how to improve would be appreciated.

Nice!. But you have to to something in Arrangement with the all the Filters and so... If its Mastered - its not good.

I like it. But you might want to change the title, to keep it away from the decidedly non-’80s effort by Dannii.

Upon listening again, I definitely should have added more automation. That seems to be a common element for filters within the genre that I neglected. Thanks for listening and the advice.

Thanks for listening, I appreciate it. However, I doubt anyone would easily mix up my very amateur production with that album. LOL

It's a pretty good effort for a first try. The mix is very aggressive as noted by others .

If you're seriously interested in producing synthwave then I can highly recommend this site: https://synthwavedojo.com there's a whole course on synthwave with lots of examples and walkthroughs.

Starts off like Tron world. I’ve been getting way into synthwave, vaporwave, dreamwave.. all the chillwave type stuff lately. This sounds like the stuff I listen to at work. Keep running with this!
