This is a song I mixed for a client to coincide with Jackson Browne's birthday (09 Oct). It is an early Jackson Browne song delivered in a style that is a bit more in keeping with his later "Lives In the Balance" period with some added Prog-ness.
I have no idea (and don't really care) what DAW or sounds were used as I get WAV Multitrack. I do know the backing singer Myrah was hired online (as I was) from (I believe) Africa.
Everything was Mixed & Mastered 100% in Reason 12 using stock effects and my usual DIY Delay VST (which are also often made into reverbs) and Drives (and Scream4).
I think it is a lovely cover of a very sensitive song that David put his stamp on very nicely. It is the second time I have mixed one of his songs. The first I have ever gotten to work on a JB song which is an honor for me as I hold him in very high esteem as a singer, songwriter, and Artist in general.
