Here's a tune I've been working a lot on. The vocal chain was tricky but a blast to do. Very curious to know what y'all think

In the 90s, my midi music was on the Baulder's Gate site. That was my life peak.

Very cool and very catchy. Kudos. I really like it. If I have one suggestion, it's to try and get more "thud" from the kick so we can really feel it. It seems that's the kind of kick sound you'd want for this one. Augment this kick with another one if need be.
Good Stuff!

Great feedback - thank you. I'll jump in and EQ that low on the kick a bit more. I have kick layer that I actually turned off. I'll enable it and get that kick thudding.HoboSage wrote: ↑31 Mar 2019Very cool and very catchy. Kudos. I really like it. Just to follow up - I took your advice and I EQ'd the kick and layered another kick under it. Added some thickness. Curious how it sounds to you... Just refresh the link and the new version should pop.HoboSage wrote: ↑31 Mar 2019Very cool and very catchy. Kudos. I really like it. The production on this is A+. I don't really have much to add besides keep up the great work. And I don't know much about this genre but again, it sounds freaking great.
Energetic! Ladyfriend's 'gotta get this feelin' OUT!' - Daylight or Moonlight!
EQD ToneJob says LadyFriend needs her 'Mids' Booosted.
I also scoped it with Audioleak (Live Analysis): I agree with HoboSage's suggestion to
If this is multi-tracked, you're Good.
I played it twice ! I Might come back to hear it again. It's a nice Spirit Raiser!

A DR of 1-2 says there's room. A lot of Room. You might have to just/duck those droning Subs - and reconsider the HIGHs.try and get more "thud" from the kick so we can really feel it

It's great! Fresh and cool, with chewy chewy bass!
Can't fault it, you have a new SoundCloud follower!
