Thanks! I played with the guitars groove settings for like 2 straight hrs haha never really paid Groove much attention, but it definitely is a godsend for certain types of tracks!

The guitar parts are mangled rex loops, so they are indeed real guitar, but in midi form.. the chorus and verses are actually played on my MPD24 (drum pad).. I was able to get down the sequence pretty fast, but it was missing that swingin' feel with Grrooovve this also allows all my sequenced drum parts and chopped vocals to glue together cohesively (so technically you can rex your audio files and apply the groove that way). This also gives you the added benefit of being able to "extract groove" from the rexed audio file. The tick +/- in the groove editor is my new go to for letting instruments drag behind or ahead of the beat. This is nondestructive and can be assigned to multiple channels, which is a HUGE time saver on both accounts.
