Nice and dreamy. I like it.
'Need To Feel Loved' is a great track - but Id like to hear the vocal more up front.
Yeah it was a bit of a tradeoff situation with that. It took some doing to get it to sit. It's staying as-is though. I got tired of messing with it, and at one point made it worse and reverted back to an earlier save lol.Dante wrote:'Need To Feel Loved' is a great track - but Id like to hear the vocal more up front.
That's quite an entertaining track. Really nice synth and pad sounds. I like the vocal samples. Nice dreamy chords, in a trendy sort of way. I actually really like the outro, that tiny part at the end with just vocals. I could listen to that for longer. There's something about the drums that stick out. Like they need a filter or some effect or compression (or all 3) as a blanket over them to get them tied in to the rest of the song. I reckon it could have a stronger vocal in there to really emphasise the emotion of the chords, but the samples are good anyway.
like it, nice and dreamy indeed.
The only thing "buggin" me is the snare/clap. Sorta gets stale after a while. Maybe its to piercing, or something you could try as a trick in the future is the create more velocity changes, and feed it into saturation comression combo. The difference in volume will bring some tonality changesm subtle differences which in my opinion are almost always a good thing.
Volume differences will smoothen out with the compression, but if not enough you can always aplly a bit more.
Either way, very enjoyable track!

Warm and relaxing like a hot bath.
I got that Moments in Love by Art of Noise-feeling after a while.
The pointers about the production itself are already given.

Really nice harmony, I love the way you sampled the vocals. This is quite relaxing and unique
