PWYW refill: Bitley Is Lost In Music

This new refill is crazy. And the price even more so: You’re paying what you want. Because we want you to experience our sounds no matter who you are. It contains stuff from our commercial banks as well as completely new stuff.

You can see it as a sample library, because it contains a ton of samples. So if you want to create patches, send them to me at patrick dot fridh at gmail dot com and I will include them if they are cool. Or just build your kits and stuff on the fly when you are producing tracks.

You can – of course, browse a ton of patches too. It contains over 1,000 patches for Subtractor, Thor, Malström, Grain, Aurora, Korg Mono/Poly, Combinator, Predator, NNXT, ReDominator, Korg Polysix, Ivoks, Propellerhead PX7, Martin Luder’s PG8X. You don’t need all of these as you can focus on what you have and go from there.

Totally it contains over 6,200 files and the size is 1,25 GB.

First demo: An extremely simple patch. But what makes a patch a patch? In this case, this was the first patch where I used the new combinator backdrop and I had set out to create something advanced, but I just added a Radical piano and had my Roland FP7 (digital piano) connected to Reason so it was so lovely to play it from a real piano-feel keyboard. Then I added quite a lot of compression and I removed some of the exaggerated noise effects from the default Rad piano sound, and a bit of reverb on the top. You can download the patch and the playing completely for free, it's on the linked page. Or you can add over 1,000 additional patches.

The size isn't changing so much as the major work now is patching, naming and organizing. Working my way down to mr Thor who needs a major overhaul desperately. My neck hurts now, but it will be worth it

that is great... you kept your neck intact ... but > once again, the link you sent me has now been deleted > I sent an email to you. You will likely need to send new links to everyone that purchased the refill if indeed the original file was deleted and a new dropbox folder or file was made after deleting the first file. I believe it went directly to the file so the link would no longer work if the file was deleted

sounds great... just waiting for the new link now. I may have time to make some suggestions now that the new reason update has been installed on my system... testing comes next. If you make a folder for the refill, and create the link for that folder, the link should remain valid for each iteration. That way new links should not be something you should need to do everytime it changes. Pick the option that anyone with the link can access folder> when creating the link you send out. I think the original link was a link to a file that is now deleted so the link changes if you go the file route... everytime.

Don’t be sad Patrick. I ask because, as said, I have been buying your refills at least for the last 15 years. There’s so many patches don’t think I’ve even managed to try them all even in that time. I only want to know if it’s all new stuff because this one seems like a really big one too.
