I’m looking for some super basic Latin drum loops, like as basic as a Casio keyboard. Some bossa nova type grooves . Really simple just as a back ground for some arrangement ideas. Preferably Rex loops and free would be great! Lol . Any suggestions please?

That reminds me actually, I have some Goldbaby packs and I think there are some folders full of Rex loops I never really looked at. I will have to dig in. Thanks

make your own based on this :)
That’s an awesome book! I will take a look at that for fun. But I just want something quick and dirty for the time being, want to focus on arranging and melody rather than programming beats.

If it's just for use as a guide and won't be in the final thing you could do worse than finding some Latin drum lessons on YouTube and just ripping the audio. Or you could probably even find a vid of someone demoing all the drum patterns on said Casio keyboard.

That is a good shout! Goldbaby has me covered for the Casio tones, ran a loop through a pre-amp and eq and it sounds way fatter than I had imagined it would.

I guessed that Drum Sequencer would include all the common rhythms, but, surprisingly, no. What a weird thing to not provide with a drum sequencer.

I've taken it upon myself to transcribe the 260 drum patterns into a set of Drum Sequencer presets. I'll upload them when I'm done. :)
