String Patch - yeah those ID8 strings..

I was a bit board today and decided to play about with some strings, you know "Those Strings" and built a combinator (V1).

thought I would share the patch, well project file, the CMB is inside.

ID8 actually sounds quite good for what it is. But using ID8 makes me feel guilty for buying all the instruments I have sitting in my rack, so I rarely use it. ha ha ha

ID8 is easily my most used RE/Instrument in Reason. It rarely makes it into the final song but it's just so darned convenient for roughing out a song because all the basic sounds you need are right there. In Studio One I do a similar thing with Presence XT, their rompler, but I had to work harder to set it up. I've got a bunch of basic presets in a folder called "000 Davey" so it's always at the very top of the list - Bass, Strings, Piano, Organ, Sawtooth synth.
