Hello everyone!

Lots of you know me and my sound-design developing.
I think that all the stuff that Dopetank brought into Reason, brought the clients some superb stuff.
Anyway, now, when the updated combinator is finally here - I wanted to start a new Refill project, to bring
my sound-design into a new level. Drrrrrrr...

We are gonna release Refills as a 'Maxout Refills' from the now on.
We want to put our all efforts in, to top everything we've done thus far.
In the soundwise, in the usability wise and making some really sexy looking combinator skins too..

Anyway, our all upcoming patches will be Combi2 patches.
Secondly, we want to do certain things betterly than in the past.
We want to testdrive our future patches, have a lower default volume, and also making less oneshots and more
complex/interesting sounds.

We also want to keep our promotions inside a single thread - i.e. In THIS thread.

Anyway, we are starting the Maxout Refill's journey with a free gift.
Here's a mastering combi we created and skinned:

But you just need to install this free Xfer_OTT VST that is for the both, Windows and Mac (.dmg for mac and .exe for the windows)

Ok, we thought that we needed even more control over the mix, when mastering.
So 3 band for the compression wasn't enough, so we made a 6-banded one.

Also, 4 bands to EQ wasn't enough, so we made 8-bands.

And Tape speed is there too now, which wasn't there in the first version.

So yeah, you need to grab this free VST i.e. Xfer OTT multiband compressor (there's both, one for Mac and another for Windows) HERE: https://xferrecords.com/freeware

You're welcome! A TIP to use it is: that set the incoming gain til the transients and dynamics sound "straight" and clean - the output gain is there to get the final loudness. And the multiband compressor + EQ to boost or cut til you feel like things sound right.

Thanks, that worked manually, but it should have worked when I selected "Open Link in a New Tab" on Chrome. I have them now, so all good.

Our First Commercial Maxout Refill is Released!

Hello!

We proudly announce that our hard work is done and our first Maxout Refill finished. The new combi2 + Synchronous were our first project to complete.

So yeah, we created 90 uber-cool patches, that can do some really crazy stuff. But also, we wanted that the patches would not sound like a sonic mess - that's why we test-drived them.
