With the tragic loss of Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris yesterday, any IR’s of the famed church are priceless at this point.
Anyone care to share any IR’s from this legendary recording space, please share them here!

Wrong cathedral, but cool nonetheless. The OP is for Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris (France) that just burned down; the ones you posted are for Cathedral of Notre Dame of Lausanne (Switzerland). Anyway, thanks for sharing! Cool project nonetheless.diminished wrote: ↑16 Apr 2019http://rr.epfl.ch/demos/eCathedral

Knowing motuscott's humor, I'd say he is being sarcastic.

thanks for the tip. I have downloaded the 1,5 GB data and I got a lot of .ita files. I'll hoped, that it was impulse responses in wav format.diminished wrote: ↑16 Apr 2019http://rr.epfl.ch/demos/eCathedral

So, what can I do with the .ita files now ?? What kind of format is this and can I load it into the RV7000 or is there a converter for this file-format ?
thanks.

Looks like it might not be as easy as we had hoped:tanni wrote: ↑16 Apr 2019thanks for the tip. I have downloaded the 1,5 GB data and I got a lot of .ita files. I'll hoped, that it was impulse responses in wav format.diminished wrote: ↑16 Apr 2019http://rr.epfl.ch/demos/eCathedral

shit#2: I believe those files are recorded with their matlab toolbox http://www.ita-toolbox.org/download.php - that means you'd have to retrieve the impulse responses "manually", which again means you need access to matlab and need to know how it all works..
Sorry I should have checked the whole thing out before posting.

I find this: https://www.audioease.com/IR/VenuePages/Chartres.html
But i don´t know how it is useful for the Reason Reverb?

If they were the actual impulse response samples alone, then you'd just load them into Reason's RV7000 and then you'd have (presumably, depending on the quality of the IR's) perfect acoustically modelled reverb based on being inside of Cathedral Notre Dame - Chartres, France.bossa wrote: ↑17 Apr 2019I find this: https://www.audioease.com/IR/VenuePages/Chartres.html

But the link you posted is for IR's made for (and included with) Altiverb, which is a $600-$1000 USD convolution reverb plugin.
Still, nice find. Just too pricey for my blood when I already have a perfectly fine convolution reverb in Reason.

I know that's what a comedian usually says when they make a joke of something say a couple of days after the death of someone and the audience only half laugh...too soon?
