Thanks for posting this ridiculous deal. These are some quality drum sounds all for $1.53 and 8 seconds of download time.

I forgot that I had even purchased this about two years ago. I got it for £1, so I guess that 10p I saved can be put toward buying PSQ :)

I was going to grab it, then at checkout I realised I had a 50% off code and ended up grabbing their Complete Drums Bundle which I'd been thinking about picking up for flipping ages. I like to roll my own drums more these days, but other times I just want to drop good drum samples into Redrum and get cracking.

Wave Alchemy for me are my go to drum sample supplier. I've got about 5 of their packs and very very pleased with them - along with Evolution and Revolution Kontakt kits.

Unlike Adam I prefer to use Battery instead of Redrum. And Kick 2 for (obviously) my kicks. But... each of us to our own ways of doing things - neither right or wrong.

And... like Adam I do create my own sounds, but do add them alongside pre-made samples as well.

For me, I generally only make a drum sound that will become the "distinct" and "stand out" element of my rhythms. Especially making my the open hats, as these for me have to be totally in key and taking up precise frequency ranges against my other percussion - so they don't take up too much of the mix.
