I cracked the code! I'm starting a new thread for this combinator. No crazy note generation going on, just a Player with a Custom Scale which is controlled by CV which is generated from 12 12-bit shift registers from 2 PSQ1684s. I'm using a Volt SL1 to tie each of 12 Pongasoft A/B Switches together. The SL1 lets you do switching between them. Don't run the PSQs!

You may not quite understand, but this combi is the result of a lot of work, I thought it was impossible for months. Kudos to Lectric Panda for the shift register patterns -- I was stunned to find 12 of them that left just the right single bits on! When I say impossible, imagine trying to get the exact numbers below via CV!
