Hello sound gurus,

I've always wanted to know how to get the bass at 1:55 in this track:

To me, it literally sounds like a Great White shark lurking in the depths. Makes the hair stand up on my neck.

Does anyone know the recipe for this?

I think I can come up with something similar with Thor.

But for sake of quality, do you happen to have eXpanse or Viking 2?

Hi Aeox,

Thanks for the reply, no, I don't have either of those, I am purposefully trying to learn about what comes in the box with Reason 7 before getting involved with everything else.

Truth is, I was planning on choosing Thor as the first synth I try to learn inside-out, it's obviously very powerful.

Looks like my education might be about to start?!....

That sound is just some detuned/spread sawtooth waves (the irony :puf_bigsmile: )

The thing making it sound so good is the effects processing on the sound
