As an idea, this is kind of brilliant. Is there somewhere I can go to listen to a more isolated example? I can't tell what is being created by the IRs. Really cool idea!

The best way is to go to our website and just download the demo that contains 8 samples. You can listen them in any audio software, preview in spectrum analyzer and check what it will do in RV7000mk2 ;)

I just picked up this refill today and i am content with its unique IR's, really adds some interesting textures to synths that can't be found any where else. Great Job to the guys at Navi.! Had to pick it up for that intro price! :)
Happy customer here.

If I might ask, what is being used to convert image data to audio or impulse data? Something like Photosounder?

Yes. Photosounder in combination with Izotope RX and few VST plugins for deep processing. :)

I gotta say I've been using these a whole bunch lately. Great way to instantly turn anything into sfx , atmospheres, or just add otherworldly character. Even the wav. files alone make fantastic sweeps and fx. I'm really impressed, great job!
