Just found out that modular samples library will be uploaded to freesound.org (and all of the 40,000 sounds will be CC0).

They are also available for download as refills (and other formats) for free here:

It's sampled a bunch of synths (these are in refill format):
Akai S612, Roland Juno 6, Roland HS-80, JX-8P, Oberheim expander, fender chrome polaris, Novation ultranova etc.

I remember downloading a lot of those a while ago... They sound ok... Somehow though I felt they didn't give much room to shape your own sound... That was probably my fault, as I was more looking to find more of a representation of those synths instead of just those sounds that were offered... Not sure if I'm making myself clear...
