Omg Way Beyond Fairlight...
Hi Patrick, I have the free Dropbox with the 2GB limit. Up until this point, I've not had an issue rejoining your Dropbox for R2. But with my Dropbox completely empty (so the full 2GB available), there's an error message that R2 is too large to join. The exact Dropbox message when trying to rejoin R2 is "Can't complete this operation, because you'll run out of space." Dropbox indicates 2.25 GB is available in my free account. Hmmm...?
Same problem here.emasters wrote:Hi Patrick, I have the free Dropbox with the 2GB limit. Up until this point, I've not had an issue rejoining your Dropbox for R2. (Btw: Grats to this awesome Refill )
Size is just a temporary problem as the Kontakt work will be placed in another directory so that customers will be able to choose which to join (both for those working in that environment as well). Good point too Normen.
So have early R2 customers tried the new release uploaded earlier today? I think it should be close to perfection for now.

Yes, I tried it and really like it (still )!bitley™ wrote:So have early R2 customers tried the new release uploaded earlier today? I think it should be close to perfection for now.
But some of the combinator patches are not in a folder anymore. If I remember correctly at least some of them were in a folder called something with "insanity" with the last version, right? (the Backwarda, Backwardraw and Bug Combis for sure) Is this intentional (well, I guess it is but I feel I have to ask anyway)?
Another thing I am very thankful for are the Subtractor-patches! I mean, I really like the whole package but I have almost forgotten how good this old synth is - now in the age of Oberon and Vector. Anyway, if there were some subfolders for the synth patches (like bass, pads, leads, ...), that would be very helpful for me to find certain sounds faster. WBF is just soo big!
Thanks again! Indeed, it was not that complicated as I thought!normen wrote:You are aware that you can simply download the file without putting it in your dropbox first, yes?
I've selected a few patches for fun, as you'll see when you get to know the refill, all NNXT and Combi patches have been categorized. I was more looking for feedback on the R2 overall but I got it from RaymondH previously I think. It was lost in this forum migration.
Hi guys, a little feedback on WBF R2 (2nd release) would be welcome as I am preparing for Kontakt conversion.

WBF R2: "Movie Music"
just made a second post about this, oops. am wondering if wbf 1 is the same as 2, just 2 has more or are they seperate refills with different sounds. have the cash and the mouse is hovering over the purchase button, am just curious would i have to buy 2 or 1 for 99? i do a lot of soundtrack stuff, and 80s/retrowave is my passion at the moment, so i do feel like i need this, am just making sure
Actually, purchased just last month -- and I did get the R1 version fine. Only the R2 version is bigger. At one point Patrick talked about splitting into a couple of Dropboxes versus one larger one. I'm sure he'll sort it out when the Kontakt product's complete and time permits.
