Recording bass line from Chord Sequencer

Hi folks. I have Chord Sequencer pumping out a bassline to another instrument in a different combinator, but I can't figure out who to record that. Problem is recording in the player only affects the instrument making the chords, not the bassline instrument.

How should I record the bassline? If I hit record on the bass instrument track and run the Chord Sequencer, nothing gets recorded.

The cables are going to the Sequencer Control in the bass instrument itself. Also tried direct to the combinator, still no joy.

So are you sending CV cables of Chord (Gate Out) and Root Note (CV Out)?

Instead of going directly to the bass instrument itself, attach a CV Player Tap (free) to the instrument and send the CV to that. You can then use the Send to Track feature on the bass track.
