What are your plans RE-wise for Black Friday?
Assuming there will be one (and below will be discounted) I'm planning on getting:
* Objekt from RS
* 3Plex from Quadelectra
* Delta MIDI Computer from Static Cling
* maybe - Chord Sequencer from RS
Hurry up RS, before I spend the money somewhere else!

This isn't about "needing" anything
Maybe Objekt, but I don’t know do I really need it, since I got synful orchestra for free.
But just bought TDR‘s slickEQ Mastering early Black Friday at audiodeluxe for 10bugs

Very interested in picking up a few more Ekssperimental Sounds REs if they go on sale again. Amalgam, SineSynth, maybe TE Tape Echo as well. I'm trialling that one at the moment and can't believe how nice it sounds, even among the six billion delay plugins I already own it really stands out
That's about it for REs, although I have a second-tier wish list for stuff that I don't really need but would grab if it went on crazy bargain sale. Obsession for example, or Luna, or one of the Umpf drum REs
Over in VST land I'd like to pick up Portatron, and Dials or Noises by Audio Thing

No, not interested and doubly not interested if the only payment is a credit towards Melda stuff. I don't know how they are still in business.

I have all the REs I want and need. I don't think I'll be buying anything for Black Friday. But you never really know until the sale happens. There could be something I didn't know I needed (wanted) for 70% off. I'll take a look at the sale if/when it happens.
I hope some developers surprise us with some free stuff. I love it when they do that.

It's amazing. Aside from its obvious use as an instrument, I like to use it as an effect. I split the audio signal and send one channel through Objekt (key mode set to mono), then mixe it back together with the dry signal. It's a really subtle way to add a little something extra to the original signal.
10 BUGS? That's too many bugs. Sounds like you need to buy Objekt.
Same. It can really spice up a drum loop, especially with some crafty CV modding of the filter freq/gain/decay scale functions
Objekt if it goes low enough because as others said I don’t know if I really need it. We’re so spoiled today that it seems only very low prices can pull the trigger.
I think it won't go lower than -20%, i.e. $79 from current $99. But that's be fine for me, *IF* it happens (because it might not).
There's not a lot of plugins like it. The closest is AAS' Chromaphone, I believe. But that one is way more constrained and the GUI/workflow is pretty unintuitive.
I am hoping for a Ekssperimental sounds sale too although I am not too confident there will be one seeing as they had a Halloween sale very recently. Trialling ouroboros as we speak and hoping to get it a bit cheaper (I was pretty broke when on sale).dvdrtldg wrote: ↑12 Nov 2023Very interested in picking up a few more Ekssperimental Sounds REs if they go on sale again. Can you explain what this RE is good for? I've never really understood how to use latch.huggermugger wrote: ↑13 Nov 2023Check out AutoLatch while you're at it. Very useful for manipulating gates and triggers. Minimal overlap with Delta.
Nothing, only bought retouch´s ToneRows now for more fun with my launchpad mk2 and grid64g for live and jam usage, if the usb midi connection of grid64g with the lauchpad works stable, what could be different sometimes, especial after a usb power was down after inactivity and so on....

Since they are late to the party i already did spend money elsewhere
Got Ableton Live Intro 11 wih free upgrade to 12 for 63€, quite a bargain!
The last 2 years i got a Digitakt & Digitone (& recently a Dreadbox Typhon).
I want to start recording jams, which should be a breeze with Elektron's Overbridge. Unfortunatelly thta doesn't work properly in Reason... Luckely it does in Ableton!
I would have gotten Bassline Generator, but with the upcoming MIDI generators in Ableton 12 i don't know if i need it anymore...
PS: Chord Sequencer is a great player, i use it to write chord melodies for my Digitone !
