Why Parsec is higher priced ?

I know there’s been 2 versions of it, v2 being not free for existing users, but it’s not a good reason and it’s long time ago. I wonder why Parsec is 1/3 higher priced than any synth by RS. It sure is a great synth but Objekt’s too. Perhaps there are some behind the scene licensing. Anybody in the know ?

IMO Parsec is the 'most versatile' synth they ever made.

Got Parsec when it came out and have been waiting for a reasonable (pun intended) upgrade option for years.
Only thing I can think of is the dev or devs of Parsec/2 have some say in the pricing and how it is sold?

IMO Parsec is the 'most versatile' synth they ever made.

As other of their synths : Thor, Europa, Algorithm, Objekt are as most versatile. Parsec is unique in its way, as is Complex-1. Only Parsec is higher priced.
