Shouldn't this be in the regular Rack Extensions thread? I'm trialling it at the moment and it sounds great

Tempted, because I use Plateau in VCVrack. But I think my reverb collection is nicely rounded out with RV7000, both Synapse reverbs, RPverb, my own Bricasti combi2, and (soon to buy) AD480 :puf_bigsmile:

Nevertheless, congratulations on the release

Congrats on the release Murf! This is an amazing sounding reverb. The mod shaping and diffusion make it particularly unique. Definitely try it out, if you haven't yet.
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

Congratulations! Best sounding Reverb in Reason for me. And for the price...Softube and Synapse can cover their ears.

In VCVrack it is absolutely at the top of available reverbs. In Reason, though, I wouldn't say it's better than DR-1 or RPverb. If I didn't have those, I would jump on this imediately :puf_wink:

It's none of my business but I'm curious if the original developer of the VCV module getting a slice of the profits?

To each their own. I'm sick of room simulations, realism and IR's. Every morning I reach for those for tv shows and movies. This one got me tripping.
UAD lexicon and this one are on top of my list.
I did enjoy ekssperimental sound AK11. I plan to buy it.

Yep this is definitely a purchase for me.
Just trialed it for 30 minutes and I'm already getting new strange and exciting results.

Ahhhhhhh of course

I tend to think of Orbis Terrarum as the album where they started to slide a bit. UF Orb is the one for me. Haven't listened to The Orb for years, might give them a spin today

My favorite album of theirs. Either that or Live 93. Love that ambient dub!

Some of my favourite Orb tracks are remixes - e.g. this one

Anyway, back to this fine reverb RE. I'm loving it. It has some tricks up its sleeve, particularly in the diffusion department, and is a no brainer at the intro price. The UI is fine once you get used to it

Generally I welcome porting VCV Rack modules to the Reason RE format.

But in this particular case, Platey Valley is a free VCV module, therefore I expected a free RE too.

I understand, but I think I have contributed enough to Reason on the free side with the MODRACK range.
The Plateau port was a very difficult one that required large amounts of code change and a UI total rework, including generating the graphical elements from scratch.
The author of Valley Plateau VCV module fully supports the price I am charging.

Also keep in my that the VCV VST costs $149. You can use it standalone for free, but if you want to use it in Reason as a VST, that's what it would cost you. While owning that does offer its own value, if you're someone who doesn't own VCV VST and/or just wants to get some of these modules into the Reason rack, this costs less.

I understand your opinion.

Just keep in mind, that the beta phase alone took several months and quite a few ppl were involved. And I think you want to be payed for your work too.
