I bought it just before it went away. Cool it's now free for those that don't have it yet. There were several topics about alternatives after it was gone from the shop.

So nice of the developer to bring this back and give it away. Wow! I didn't have it, so it's new to me.
Thank you Sonicbits!!

Hi Geir! I know you haven't been around here in a while, so I'm using the quote feature to try to tag you.geir wrote:
Thanks so much for this!
Contact Bandlab and let them know you want to see it back in the shop.
Great stuff. I know several different ways to quickly make a pump, but I always use this one.
Another great thing. In every project, I definitely use them on acoustic guitars and bass.

Aha!!! Are they??
I’ve got a LA-2A license but becasue I don’t have an In-log for the Cakewalk legacy website I can’t activate it.

The LA-2A and (I think) 1176 emulations are now in the pro-channel strip in the free Cakewalk by Bandlab version. You can't use them outside of Cakewalk. There are several Cakewalk plugins bundled as VSTs that you can load into other DAWs (including Reason). There's a quite nice Vocal processor, for example.
