I have a hard time deciding if I will get BIT. I'm already having Predator, Go2 and Vecto, in addition to all the Synapse synths and most of the Skrock synths. So, I'm uncertain if BIT will bring anything useful to my tool set. BIT does look like a proper bread-and-butter workhorse synth. Something like Synth1 has been for me for a long time, but better sounding But I have this nagging feeling that I can get those sounds from what I already have (but maybe not as easy).
Can anyone give me a solid reason to get BIT?

That is THE one reason that won't work for me. I only buy stuff that adds to my sound pallet and/or my workflow, and that is of use in the music that I make.
Predator RE never got the updates that Predator VST got, so that BIT code is not in Predator RE.
However, that doesn't really matter. I know BIT does sound really good (I have it installed as trial right now), but so does Antidote, Obsession, The Legend, Morningstar, ReSpire, and a host of other synths I have available.
What I like about BIT is that it is a straightforward VA synthesizer, which makes it useful for fast sound design (within its possibilities). It seems more approachable than the other synths I have, but at the same time I think it has a big overlap sound-wise with the synths I mentioned before.

Never mind, I just bought BIT which rounded out my rewards voucher, and subsequently got Predator for 25 euros... nice

I've been looking at Sub Boom Bass and PunchBD. I like the idea of my kick and bass playing nice together and the consistency it could give me. But.... these are like 2010? Does anyone that makes hip hop have any thoughts on these, and are they useful today?

Just spent 50 reward points on Quad. Definitely my best Synth purchase in years.
The question is - Who cares

I trialed it a few years back. Not impressed tbh. I have EQs with an air band, and making your low-end mono... we had a whole discussion here about that just recently

Thanks for the reply. I'll search for that discussion.crimsonwarlock wrote: ↑08 Apr 2023I trialed it a few years back. Not impressed tbh. I have EQs with an air band, and making your low-end mono... we had a whole discussion here about that just recently
I get that there isn't a pricing tier in the shop for 17.50... but thought I'd have a laugh anyway

Checked out Go2 after checking this thread, and it's an awesome little synth. So much fun! and surprisingly powerful, there's a lot you can do with it in terms of wild patch creation & sound design. The arp is cool too, loving this one at $19
