Hi All

As title says, I would like n Enable Player Cv input on the back of all players if possible.
Many situtations is impossible to combine players (or possible, but especially with polysynths, a duplicate nightmare)
And an enable cv on the back, would make it possible for some easy live automations.
It's still possible to write the autom on the sequencer, but on the back of the player (echo, etc) it would be much cooler...

tnx!

I think you're looking for this: https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... ive-notes/
(in combination with https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... layer-tap/ you can build really complex player stacks.)

As long as the Player is in a Combinator, you can apply all kinds of CV to it.

I don't understand any of the "Live Note" developer rack extensions and I though I was pretty good at learning new things in CV modularity.

I agree with Mataya, Le Note REs are a bit perplexing (mostly because they don't have manuals and their videos, when they have them, aren't in English). I haven't really taken much time to try to figure their REs out.

But Receive Note is a really simple one and I use it all the time. You basically put it an the bottom of any player (or player stack) and it will stop the flow of MIDI information. So it is a work-around way to stop/start all players in a stack, functioning kind of like a mute button, but for MIDI. As mentioned above, Receive Notes works brilliantly paired with Player Tap (or MIDI CV Converter).

There is a way to pair different Receive Note devices with a master device (Select Program) but I haven't mastered that yet.
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

That's pretty easy as well: You connect the master Select Program device to all Receive Notes slave devices (up to 32 for the first one) via CV cables. then you can dial in a value on the master and all Receive Notes with the corresponding number (set in the select program spinbox) will be active. When you need more outputs you can chain the Select Program devices and select a different value range for the additional outputs. That way you can switch between up to 128 different instruments.
