What's new:

• Mono legato mode

• HD graphics for custom display

• GUI fixes and improvements

• improved mod matrix: mod source smoothing for external controllers (eg. Modwheel)

• new Sequencer functions (RND Reorder, Reverse, etc.)

• new A/B switches: each title (eg. OSC A, FILTER A) on the panels is also a switch button

• OSC Table switch moved from the performance panel to the OSC table panel

• new and updated factory patches

• some small bug fixes under the hood

The update is free, but please note that this version requires Reason 10.1. Don't update if you're still using Reason 9.

Enjoy! :)

It's a kind of graphics for controlling the instrument. The big advantage of this over traditional buttons is that it can be updated dynamically.
For example, the drop-down menus in the upper left corner or the Luna sequencer window.

Right, I must have missed this but it looks mighty interesting.

Anyone care to explain how osc table A works. Looks like it potentially plays different sounds per a step sequencer. If so is that useful?

At work so cannot search out a you tube vid yet.

You can have two different sounds, A and B, playing two separate sequences and morph between them.

Thanks Mr Figg👍

At £24 seems a steal. Will be trialling this when I am off work Saturday.

I could have predicted you would like it

Those sequence presets are instant song starters :puf_wink:

Yeah. I used it last night. Great. Then, inspired, I went through 17 pages of forgotten REs and picked out a few I haven’t looked at in years. FM4 is great. Been using the Inphonics one. Oberon also very cool.

I use an app on my phone that does random picks from lists you make. I have a list with synthesizer REs, one with drum machines, one with players and one with special FX like Synchronous etc. I let the app pick one from each list and that is my starting point. Lots of fun because it gives combinations you wouldn't think of yourself.

Thanks for keeping development going on these, I love this and the Maia series as well - just when you think you've seen it all you click something by accident and a whole new world appears.

It actually pains me because I will never have the time to give to this that it deserves. But i'll keep throwing money at it whilstever these things keep appearing in the store as they keep winding their way into my projects. So practically usable despite the complexities and possibilities.

Was trying to avoid gas but have had a lot fun using random lfo's on the a-b crossfader and haven't even got to the sequencer part yet.

Trialling started a new song which is always a good sign. Bought 👍

Yeah, definitely. My new Synth, cool.

I like the way Layers is set out and there is some similarity here, not just the sound types, it's the functionality. I'm straight in finding useful controls for effects all over the synth. Excellent work Pink Noise.

Another Luna update:

New in 1.9.1
Improved legato function, mono legato did not work properly under certain conditions:

with one shot oscillators (which are not looped), fixed.

if you set sample offset on the OSC panel, fixed.

Luna has been updated to 1.9.2

- bug in the Oscillator tables, fixed

- new function in step sequencer: ratchet! Usage: Shift-click on the length field of the actual pattern increases the ratchet number (no, 2,3,4), alt-shift decreases it.
