Has anyone tried a guitar or a voice through this yet?
The audio inputs supposedly (definitely) act as "exciters" for the synth, so things like drums/percussion should be (are) excellent sources. ;)

Wow - welcome back jfrichards! It's been years, man. YEARS.
Thanks, I moved 3000 miles to take care of both my parents. They both left us with smiles on their faces. Now I'm back concentrating on music. This "External In" could be magnificent, like my microKORG.

Great to see you John! I had been wondering about the posting gap, way to step up when duty calls. I've been having similar experiences. Best to you!

I really like the design. It looks like it’s made of powder coated metal, slightly scuffed with wear , rather than plastic. It reminds me of an hand held controller for an industrial robot.

I think it is a used version. Maybe there are no new devices available anymore and it might be a good invest in the future if this thing rocks and a lot of ppl want to have it.

Still haven't seen any pictures of Objekt inside the rack. I mean... duct tape, velcro, silly putty?

Market seems absolutely saturated with vintage emulations and the like, RS are on the right track with this and Friktion IMHO.

I'm looking forward to next weeks live stream as much as any TV fan looks forward to a new season of their favourite show, genuinely!

My condolences about your parents. That's not an easy thing.

So when you hit the stop button, Objekt falls out of the rack. Be careful.
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

Just so you're not too disappointed: we'll all be at Superbooth next week so a livestream will likely be the week after at the earliest. But there'll be PLENTY of videos and maybe even some nice interviews from Superbooth :geek:

Ah, good to know - don't worry my You Tube algorithm will not let me down I'm sure! Good to see RS back at the shows.

It would be a GREAT idea to give us videos (and especially audio samples) BEFORE the release date... Seriously, guys !

Sounds like as soon as RS remembered that they could add an audio input, that ppl start freaking out and making weird sound experiments

Yeah. Wow! That guy is really amazing. Beardyman (who oddly doesn't have a beard), kind of leaves me wanting to uninstall Reason and take up painting or something.

Right????!!!! 🤯
Even just feedback from a live mic/speaker setup can produce interesting ambient sounds even from the most basic patches. My next live stream seems to have randomly landed on the release day of Objekt and I was thinking about showing the input possibilities.
