Not a fan of the look. It looks like a construction tool, which personally I only associate with crap that needs fixing. Not exactly what gets me into creative music mode.
But GUI aside, it sounds cool judging from the video. I'll definitely give it a spin when it's released.

I quite like the mustard yellow 🙄

Would the audio in mean you could feed it from another reason device or mixer and mangle it?

I assume it works with r11 too (cannot recall if anything has required r12 for compatibility)

Didn't think it was this but I will buy it day one as usual. This may be one of the more useful devices they have created and will displace some other tools that I have.

That analyze feature looks intriguing, I wonder if you will be able to sample sounds and create your own models if that makes sense.

Looks cool in a sort of circa-2005 VST kind of way.

I do miss the old Reason aesthetic where devices were supposed to look like hardware, but we haven’t really been there since Europa started the current direction (with the more recent exceptions of Sweeper and Quartet).

I really dig the look! I like the clear layout and the depth and texture is cool! Looks very much like hardware to me :D Maybe not like typical rack hardware though lol

Oh, we get to see it! I like it, RS good at making it approachable and user friendly but still many options/buttons. Modelling synth is nice.
Look forward giving it a try in May.

It does look like hardware... Really cheap plastic hardware

Really love the sounds in the video. Very interesting. Not completely sold on the look though. Looks a little, dare I say it, toy like! Mainly down to the shape I think. But hey ho, it’s all about the sound really and it sounds amazing. Can’t wait to get hold of Objekt.

I'm looking forward to trialling yet another synth that I don't really understand!
(assuming it runs in R11...)

The design reminded me of the Speak & Spell toy.

Interesting device nevertheless.

I like the UI but only thing "bothering" me is why it's shaped like a fat T and how it will look in the rack. But all in all - looks promising and still excited. :)

Fat T was the working title but the woke focus group felt it was size-ist and also T-ist.
So instead they went from something spell-ist.

Nice looks like a sdk update will come,
What exactly do you see in this picture that cannot be done with the current SDK?

I hate when RS make rack devices which can’t fit a « real » rack. Since « Reason is the rack » it’s even more a non sense. « Reason is a toy »… with devices looking like this, it’s not going to convince anyone outside of the big fans of the program.

At least not the HD upgrade of the mod matrix. I wonder why it’s pixelated where other « text widgets » seem to be « normal »

I wonder if we'll also see a Refill for it based on this theme:

The best sounds to get you out of court. Featuring wooden mallets and shocked audiences. *scnr* :puf_wink:

Just one question... how the hell do you mount this in the rack?
Duct tape. Lots of it.

Looks enough "innovative" to me. I will purchase it. I agree it's looking a bit like a kid's toy but whatever. The sound and features are all that matter to me.

Someone mentioned here it sounds amazing. Have I missed some links?

Any word on price? I'm guessing US $99. But with the way RS have been pushing this one I can't help thinking it may be more.
