After some years away from RE development, I'm nearing completion of new CV-focused RE: Tinker CV Math Assistant.
I expect beta testing to begin some time in January. If anyone is interested in being a tester, just PM me your Reason Studios username.

Some of you may remember that I made my previous REs free a few years ago. Tinker will also be free when it's released.
For more details, read below. I'll update this thread with more information once beta testing starts.

Details:
Tinker outputs a CV signal based on a formula entered in the text box at the bottom of the device:
  • TinkerFront.png
A formula consists of variables, constants, operators, functions, and numbers. There's an integrated help menu listing all the available functionality:
  • Help.png
If you enter an invalid formula, you'll get an error message hinting at the problem:
  • Error.png

Examples:
A patch that blends between CV inputs A and input B based on the front panel Knob setting (K):
  • Blend.png
A patch that generates a sine wave based on the configurable rate setting:
  • Sine.png
That's all the details for now.

Great idea. And next step this for audio 👍

Curious if RS will allow this since I heard, that this is forbidden...

I used SocaLabs Math VST in the past for similar tasks and always wanted a RE. Here are a few older posts

Looking forward to the release.

Glad to see this has patch saving/loading capabilities for those of us who suck at math. I'm really curious to see what patches will be included. Looks like a good device for a community refill project for the math geeks to make amazing patches for us. This device looks very interesting.
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

Yes! Any wiring logic now is possible, which is brilliant! Even Hamu devices becomes more powerful with Tinker
