Yeah you have to manually update it, it appears. Glad I don’t have many rack plugins!

Still x1000 times easier than updating a bunch of VST from various plugin makers! I just updated Pigments to 4.0 last night, and that was... lengthy. I hate having to download a stupid executable to update my VST every time there's an update. As it has always been with Rack Extensions, it's just so much easier. I know an RE free "update" still requires some effort, but at least it's from one spot (well, if you're using Companion anyway). Also, I can just delete my entire RE folder and hit "Sync All" and get the latest versions in one fell swoop most of the time. For all their limitations, RE's truly excel in this area IMHO.
Win 10 | Ableton Live 11 Suite | Reason 12 | i7 3770k @ 3.5 Ghz | 16 GB RAM | RME Babyface Pro | Akai MPC Live 2 & Akai Force | Roland System 8, MX1, TB3 | Dreadbox Typhon | Korg Minilogue XD
It can become a task but still easier than dealing with VSTs, yes.

Hey now - this video clearly could have demonstrated that it is a TON easier to do a mass update on all of your RE's had this been pressed:

I imagine so - I just have UVI Vintage Vault and Arturia V Collection VSTs, so they take of most of that for me.EnochLight wrote: ↑15 Dec 2022Still x1000 times easier than updating a bunch of VST from various plugin makers!

Yes, much easier, but no way I am going to pushing that button. It will irreversibly force me into hi-res versions of all my REs and eat up TONS on HDD space. If I could, I would stay in lo-res for all my REs just because of the huge amount of HDD space they take up.EnochLight wrote: ↑15 Dec 2022Hey now - this video clearly could have demonstrated that it is a TON easier to do a mass update on all of your RE's had this been pressed:
