It seems that I'm always beta testing something, so I'm just used to this. But it would be quite annoying if there wasn't a reason for it. It's annoying enough when beta testing or demoing an RE.

Side note; It will also be nice when RS finally give R+ subs the ability to run offline. Kind of ridiculous they still can't do that.
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.

I also get the random licence thing happening and I am not demoing or renting anything. Weirdly it seems to be more common since R12 launched even though I am still on R11. Maybe there were some changes to the server end of things that sometimes mess up?

The telling thing is that after the authoriser app has run it shows me the latest changes and there is nothing new. It will show me the last thing I added with a date that can be months ago.

The problem is frequent enough to be irritating but rare enough to live with. Just another bug - we're getting used to them!

It should call home every once in a while, regardless of version changes and whether or not you have trials etc.

I should state that it appears to happen a lot less since 12 was released, but I’m not reading anything into that yet.
