Just wondering before I lay down some money for JammeR.

All JammeR does is control the quantized loop changes of the Dr Octorex. Try getting used to how the Octorex handles the 8 loops first before getting JammeR. I bought it blindly thinking I could use it to perform a whole song but there are still limitations to the Rex format that prevent lengthy musical clips from being used properly.

Peff Director controlling Note On Player. You can't switch patterns but you can latch on and off.

That's the problem. No latch.

Try a combination of these two. You could probably build something if you need pattern switching also.

Before using Directre I used Matrixes set to use the Curve, but the Directre is easier to remap to a MIDI controller than several Matrixes.

There is also Volt SL-1. It is designed more for continuous control changes, but you could also use it in place of Directre to create different states.
