Is there a free RE (or stock device) that can invert polarity?

I've got Selig Gain and a number of other REs that can invert polarity, but I'm wondering if there are any free options for doing this?

I'm basically trying to build a Combi2 that corrects Scream4's phase issues via inverting one channel... assuming that will fix the issue.

Yes, phase inversion can be done via Thor, just negate the signal.

But what you want to achieve, won't work. The phase issues comes from delays introduced by Scream4 and they may vary depending on sample rate. You can try via VMG-01 RE to manage it, but i didnt had acceptable results.

Thor.

Send the Audio into and out of Thor, using the Mod Matrix - however set the destination to -100 for L and R

I've done this on a few combi patches to achieve the following -
- fixing the phase inversion on Scream's tape mode
- creating Mid/Side processors and mixers
- getting a clean wet only signal through the Complex-1 effects
- getting a clean wet only signal through the Synchronous reverb
- getting a a clean wet signal through Audiomatic's Vinyl and Umpf Tape Hiss and Hum
- creating a mono compatible widener

Great!! Thanks for the replies. I should have looked deeper at Thor. It's pretty much our Swiss Army knife of stock devices.

Put it through a second Scream4 Tape?

Honestly, I am not sure I worry as lots of things have interesting effects on the audio that they process and unless I just dislike the device, that is its character. Occasionally I have flipped phase at the mixer to see if t'other way 'round sits nicer. Just part of mixing. I definitely never spend time worrying about things like phase unsell hear can I the vocals or drums sounding inside out like they are (and like it I do not).

This one can do phase inversion and also is able to split mid/side (ANANSI can do this for free):

If we are naming RE that can invert phase then Forgotten Clank have a device similar to Selig Gain
https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... a-trimmer/

And the mighty Morphin Crossfader
https://www.reasonstudios.com/shop/rack ... rossfader/
- which I did once combinate with Scream Tape for this very thing and the cross-mixed versions could be interesting too.

Itsy, Omega Trimmer and Morphin Crossfade.... of course! All free REs that invert.
I'm actually using Morphin in this very Combi... must have forgotten that it inverts, too.
Thanks for chiming with more options, everyone.

Omega Trimmer is not free.

It isn't? That must have been one of those limited time offers, then. Because I got it for free. Unless I beta tested it... I don't even remember anymore. ha ha ha
