And then load any of those countless patches into RYM2612.

The player that allows you to convert patches is extremely buggy for OSX. I've had it crash a few times, it doesn't want to create patches, after I made maybe 12 it stopped working.

It is a fun one, and those old sega tunes bring back the memories.

This thing is GREAT. I never thought I'd be interested in it, coz I'm not really into that whole retro game sound. But it's capable of some seriously gnarly bass, among other things. And that refill is excellent

Yeah, it's not just a video game synth. It's an emulation of a great chip (Yamaha YM2612), which was only made famous by Sega. Looks like it was used in some other system/games too, but I see it was built into "desktop synthesizer module". Surprised they didn't put their RX950 AD/DA Converter on sale. I've been waiting for that to go on sale and it hasn't for quite some time.

It's the five year anniversary of RYM2612, so that is why it specifically is on sale I believe it ends at the end of today. RX950 goes on sale from time to time.

I really didn’t think RX950 was anything for me. My friend said I should try it. 2 minutes in I pushed the buy button. It’s great.

They responded very quickly and in less than 20 minutes (after providing my RS username and a copy of my PB invoice) they gave me free copies of the RE versions.

I wish more companies worked this way, both in response time and the generous offer of providing access to the same plugins across different formats. This is how you create good will toward paying customers!

Wasn't RYM2612 their first RE? I thought it was, so I guess it could be an anniversary of either the first product or the dev company. I thought it was the latter. Regardless, some great products from this dev and I'm eager to complete my collection as soon as 950 is on sale again.
