Please tell me how you record notes into Pattern Mutator

Hi,

I upgraded from 11 suite to 12 and I have 14 days to demo PM before I spend my reward. I only know 2 ways to record/step record notes. 1) Play notes from the MIDI controller or 2) by using players like beat map, quad note generator etc... Any other way that can record notes into it? BTW, if I use it as a plugin under Bitwig 4, can I feed notes from a VST and then record into PM?

There is a step sequencer and a pattern recorder, two ways you can get notes into it. I'm loving it.

When using RRP you can route midi from the host DAW into RRP and record to Pattern Mutator. So you can record Midi from the host’s sequencer. Don’t think you can do that in standalone.
