Just checked and the 2.5.1 update is working now.

I just upgraded via the Companion. It then offers me the chance to upgrade to 'upgrade to hi-res' but then reports the error 'Hi-res does not yet exist for Maia Matrix Edition". I thought all REs were pre-built for hi-res? Have Reason Studios forgotten to flip a switch somewhere?

I’m not sure, but it’s probably because all Pinknoise REs were created with SDK 2.5 (Reason 9.2 compatible).
I will update all of them (in September) using SDK 4.2, which contains the hi-res graphics. The drawback: new versions will require R10 or newer version.

It should work for all. Maybe they just need a bit longer for new or updated versions or there is something not full automatic yet...

Hmmm... I'm not sure this should be a problem. I have RE's from devs (RIP Black and Orange!) that used the SDK before even 2.5 and they have high-res assets:

Let’s see if RS respond to my ticket. All my other Pink Noise ones seem to be hi-res.

I just saw that. Is this a brand new release from Pink noise? If so why does it say its version 2.5.

My guess is that the engine is essentially the same as the others but has a different sample bank behind it.

I have this dream as well... but can wait until the next time it is on sale
