Can anyone suggest a way of getting a long decay on the end of a power cord note?

The abrupt ending is a bit wrong in some cases and putting a long reverb on doesn't do it.

If you are using a synth to procuce the notes, set the sustain and or the release value higher.

Hi Miyaru. Thanks for your answer but I'm referring to the Rack Extension A List Power Chords in particular.

I don't have that particular RE but have you tried a different style/phrase?

Are you ending with the stop, using raw output or main output, what's wrong about the built in reverb. Maybe some automation on it might help.

I use Power Chords a fair bit and I don't think there's any way to break out from the preset patterns. It's a shame, because it would've been a really neat feature to be able to manually control the strumming.

Power Chord note, try (using Staduim Rock patch) selecting C#1 from standard phrases, and for a sustained chord, try E1 from the same group. Both give nice sustained notes. I haven’t tried other patches, but it certainly works on this patch.

This is probably the best solution. I will turn up the echo knob 100% on this comment.
Players are to MIDI what synthesizers are to waveforms.
